Hi
An extra invitation for those on the list that weren't invited already...
(You may want to reply to something other than a greta address right now,
my PA's box is currently crashed... but responding to pings. Go figure.)
See you there... :)

Subject: RSVP: party time for Jonathan Ah Kit!
Hullo!
> <Albert> our secretary is slack again this year, isn't he?
> *Albert sighs.*
The Bearcom invite you to their secretary's (rather badly belated) hastily
organised twenty-second birthday party.
who: Jonathan Ah Kit
why: celebrating our secretary's birthday back in mid-October
where: Petone Beach, deck outside the Settlers Museum
when: Monday, 15 December, 2003
time: noon-ish onwards
bring: enough fish and chips or alternative for yourself
theme: teddy bear picnic (animals and baskets optional)
length: uh... a couple hours, maybe
rsvp: 045661083/0211181956/reply e-mail -- asap
gifts: don't worry about it; up to you
if wet: meet at Mr Bun, Jackson Street
Mr Bun on Jackson Street is virtually next to the Petone PostShop; go
there if it's raining or you don't see anyone familiar by 12.30 and you
start panicking, and our secretary's h^Hcellphone doesn't work. (Hopefully
we don't, uh, pack the place out if we go there.)
Maps are available at:
> http://tinyurl.com/xnyt (you're wanting the museum on The Esplanade)
> http://tinyurl.com/xnyu (zoomed in)
> http://tinyurl.com/xnzq (PostShop's on corner Britannia and Jackson)
We're keen to try our paws at coordinating some transport, so please
e-mail us back too if you need help with that. Please also do write back
if you need more details, or there's something we've forgotten that you
think others might want to know before coming.
See you there! (Hopefully we've gotten all the details right.) In the
meantime, don't forget to check out the latest road trip photographs in
our album!

One last thing: we're quite keen to invite more people, so we'd appreciate
knowing of who is coming, especially from Wellington College of Education.
We'd like to forward them the invite ourselves, but at the least, so long
we know who is coming, that's cool.
Thank you!
Nikster, Albert (JABBA), Kerry and friends
